    Abstract: A method of manufacturing an organic electroluminescence display panel including: preparing a substrate; forming pixel electrodes arranged in a matrix above the substrate; forming parallel column banks above the substrate in spaces between the pixel electrodes in a row direction; forming functional layers including organic light emitting layers in gaps between the column banks, including causing relative motion in the row direction between the substrate and a head provided with nozzles arranged along a column direction while ejecting ink from selected nozzles among the nozzles to supply a set of the gaps with an ink including an organic material; and forming a counter electrode above the functional layers. Among the set of the gaps, nozzle patterns of the selected nozzles for a gap differ between a first gap and a second gap in a sequence in the row direction of the set.

    Abstract: An organic EL display panel including pixel electrodes above a substrate in a matrix, column banks above the substrate at least between edges of the pixel electrodes in a row direction, extending in a column direction and side-by-side in the row direction, organic light emitting layers continuous in the column direction in gaps between the column banks, and a counter electrode layer above the organic light emitting layers. Width in the row direction of the organic light emitting layers, which is defined by width of the gaps between the column banks, changes at intervals in the column direction. For each of the light emitting layers, a minimum interval is equal to or less than a pitch in the column direction of the pixel electrodes and the changes are different from others of the light emitting layers.

    Abstract: A method of manufacturing an organic electroluminescence display panel includes forming pixel electrode layers in a matrix on a substrate. The method includes arranging column banks extending in a column direction above the substrate. The method includes applying ink containing organic light emitting material to gaps between the column banks so that the ink is continuous between ends of the column banks in the column direction. The method includes arranging the substrate and a rectifying plate facing each other, the rectifying plate having a uniform density of through holes, such that the rectifying plate is at a predefined distance from the column banks. The method includes exhausting gas from an environment including the substrate and the rectifying plate. The method further includes heating the substrate to dry the ink to form an organic functional layer. The method includes forming a counter electrode layer above the organic functional layer.

    Abstract: Provided is an organic EL display panel including pixels that are arranged in a matrix. Each of the pixels includes a plurality of unit pixels. Each of the pixels includes a red unit pixel and a blue unit pixel. The red unit pixel and the blue unit pixel are arranged side by side in a row direction. In pixels adjacent to each other in the row direction among the pixels, unit pixels are arranged in at least one of manners as follows: red unit pixels are adjacent to each other; and blue unit pixels are adjacent to each other.
