Abstract: An electric wheelchair includes: a vehicle body; a first drive wheel; a second drive wheel; a first motor; a second motor; a first grip; a second grip; a first operation detection unit configured to detect a position of the first grip in a front-rear direction; a second operation detection unit configured to detect a position of the second grip in the front-rear direction; a first rotation speed detection unit; a second rotation speed detection unit; and a controller. The controller is configured to control the first motor and the second motor so as to turn the vehicle body, based on a difference between a displacement amount of the first grip and a displacement amount of the second grip and a difference between a rotation speed of the first drive wheel and a rotation speed of the second drive wheel.
