Abstract: Disclosed is a touch sensor including a plurality of first optical waveguides arranged in a stripe form, a plurality of second optical waveguides located over the plurality of first optical waveguides, arranged in a stripe form, and intersecting the plurality of first optical waveguides, and an intermediate layer between the plurality of first optical waveguides and the plurality of second optical waveguides. Each of the plurality of first optical waveguides and the plurality of second optical waveguides includes a core including an elastomer as well as a clad in contact with the core other than side surfaces of the core perpendicular to a longitudinal direction of the core. The intermediate layer has a modulus of elasticity higher than that of the elastomer.

Abstract: Disclosed is a touch sensor including a first layer, a second layer over the first layer, and a third layer over the second layer. The first layer has a plurality of first insulators arranged in a stripe form and extending in a first direction, and a plurality of first wirings arranged in a stripe form and extending in a second direction intersecting with the first direction. The second layer includes an insulating material. The third layer has a plurality of second insulators arranged in a stripe form and extending in the second direction, and a plurality of second wirings arranged in a stripe form and extending in the first direction. The plurality of first insulators and the plurality of the first wirings are woven with each other, and the plurality of second insulators and the plurality of the second wirings are woven with each other.
