Abstract: According to an embodiment, a display device includes a lower electrode, a rib including an aperture overlapping the lower electrode, a partition including a lower portion on the rib and an upper portion protruding from a side surface of the lower portion, an upper electrode which faces the lower electrode and is formed of a metal material, an organic layer between the lower and upper electrodes, and a transparent conductive layer covering the upper electrode. According to an aspect of the embodiment, the side surface of the lower portion includes a recess, and the conductive layer is in contact with, of the side surface of the lower portion, an area located above the recess.

Abstract: According to an embodiment, a display device includes a lower electrode, a rib including a pixel aperture, a partition including a lower portion and an upper portion, an organic layer covering the lower electrode through the pixel aperture, and an upper electrode covering the organic layer. The rib includes a taper portion which surrounds the pixel aperture and in which a thickness decreases toward the pixel aperture. The organic layer includes an end portion on the rib and a thickness deceasing portion in which a thickness decreases toward the end portion. Further, the thickness decreasing portion covers at least part of the taper portion.
