    Abstract: An organic electroluminescence display device includes: a TFT substrate on which organic electroluminescence elements are formed; a color filter substrate having a color filter layer; a fill material with which the TFT substrate is stuck onto the color filter substrate; a dam material that dams the fill material in a non-display area; and a gas barrier film made of an inorganic material which is arranged between the fill material and the color filter layer, covers the display area in a plan view, and is formed at an interval from the dam material in the non-display area in an inside of the dam material.

    Abstract: A method of manufacturing a display device includes forming a first resin layer on a first substrate; forming a plurality of regions on the first resin layer, the plurality of regions each including a display portion, a terminal portion and a light blocking layer located between the display portion and the terminal portion; forming a second resin layer on a second substrate; bonding the first substrate and the second substrate; directing first laser light along a first line and a second line enclosing the plurality of regions such that the first laser light is transmitted through the second substrate to irradiate the first resin layer and the second resin layer; and directing second laser light along a third line parallel to the light blocking layer such that the second laser light is transmitted through the second substrate to irradiate the light blocking layer and the second resin layer.

    Abstract: A method includes: forming, in a first substrate, a display area in which a plurality of pixels including an organic EL light-emitting layer are arrayed; forming, in a second substrate, a plurality of opening areas respectively located in correspondence with the plurality of pixels and a light-blocking area that demarcates the plurality of opening areas; providing a dam material such that the dam material encloses the display area; dripping a filler material to an area enclosed by the dam material; and attaching the first substrate and the second substrate to each other, and fusing together dripped portions of the filler material, thereby bonding the both substrates to each other. The both substrates are attached to each other while being positionally aligned such that borders between the dripped portions of the filler material that is generated by the fusion are located in an area corresponding to the light-blocking area.
