摘要:
A bucket using a box-like parallel-sided basket open at the front for dredging the sea bottom to collect nodules. The basket has a bottom wall with front and rear cross-bars and a plurality of parallel spaced rods extending longitudinally of the basket between the front and rear cross-bars. A front part of the bottom wall includes a grill formed by a transverse front link supporting one end of a plurality of longitudinal spaced flexible elements which are inclined downwardly towards the front and stretched between the front cross-bar and the transverse front link. Large shoes are positioned on lateral sides of the basket for supporting the bucket on the sea bottom. The grill is situated between the shoes with the transverse front link positioned in such manner that it penetrates the sea bottom. The basket is positioned inside the shoes and extends to the external edges of the shoes. The shoes include brackets for connecting a dredging line to the bucket.

A guide is provided for the buckets of an endless dredging line comprising an emptying station incorporated into the guide. A system comprising a pair of trolleys and a pulley system is provided to hold each bucket stationary at the emptying station for dumping. The endless line travels over the pulleys, some of which are mounted on the trolleys. When a bucket approaches the emptying station, the trolleys are actuated to travel in opposite directions so as to allow the endless line to move at its normal speed while holding the bucket at the dumping station stationary.

The invention relates to a real-world simulation device suitable for being installed in a computer designed to support a multitask programming environment (23). The device comprises a simulation manager (30), capable of working in asynchronous chaotic mode by repetitive sequences (31) on distinct simulation elements (40-70). Each simulation element works with at least one space/time datum, termed the structure point. A space/time datum includes a property datum, defining a current state of the structure point, and designates a function, applicable for modifying this current state. Said simulation manager (30) comprises two coupled simulation sections, namely a first and a second section, that are designed to simulate respectively a fluid medium and a solid body in the presence of said fluid medium. The manager (30) maintains a general periodicity of activation of the simulation elements which differs according to the physical phenomena simulated, in either of the two simulation sections

A computer to permit programming by active objects in multi-task mode, representative of systems for simulation, includes a device for real world simulation. The device includes an object simulation program for combined evolution of at least some of the active objects, including i) objects of state each containing at least one item of spatial and/or temporal and/or property data defining a current state, ii) interaction objects each containing the definition of at least one of the state objects and at least one function applicable to at least one of the state objects and defining at each point in time the simulated system topology, and iii) a simulation manager operable by sequences on a selection of interaction objects and to activate each interaction object only once for each sequence, according to an order varying in an at least partially random manner from one sequence to the other such as to apply each of the functions thereof to the actual state of each state object designated thereby for the evolution of the state thereof towards a new state.

A computer supporting an active object program in a multi-purpose mode comprises a device (D) for simulating the time evolution of a medium. Said device (D) comprises a software dedicated for simulating by objects the joint evolution of certain activated objects comprising enaction objects defining autonomous spatiotemporal entities each of which represents a physical phenomenon and, when activated, interacts in a multi-agent medium via state objects defining interaction mediators providing a topological spatiotemporal support which forms a virtual environment representing a simulated medium and makes it possible to detect the interactions between the entities in space and in time and (ii) a simulation manager capable to operate by sequences on a selection of the enaction objects and to activate each enaction object only once for each sequence according to an order varying at least partially in a random manner from one sequence to the other, thereby enabling the spatiotemporal interactions dynamically evolve sequence by sequence between the enaction objects.
