A first arm member and a second arm member are disposed in an opposite relationship with each other. The third arm member includes flange members that receive one end of a vertical frame member of the recreational structure and one end of a vertical pole member of, for example, a safety enclosure.

    摘要: A spring arrangement for a trampoline includes a rebounding surface, a frame structure having a top portion and a bottom portion, and a plurality of spring members that are mechanically coupled between the rebounding surface and the frame structure. A first group of spring members are mechanically coupled to the top portion of the frame structure and a second group of spring members are mechanically coupled to the bottom portion of the frame structure. In one illustrative embodiment, each spring member of the second group of spring members has a frame hook member that is mechanically coupled to the bottom portion of the frame structure and a bed hook member that includes an end portion that is configured to be within a projection of a body of the spring member and is coupled to the rebounding surface.

    摘要: A stable blower for use primarily with an inflatable structure is disclosed. In one embodiment, the drive axle for the blower's impeller is aligned substantially vertically thereby making it more stable. The inlet and outlet to the blower can be substantially similarly so as to allow the blower to assist with deflation of the inflatable structure by reversing the connection of the blower to the inflatable structure. In another disclosed embodiment, the outlet is aligned substantially vertically so as to allow the blower to be positioned at the base of a leg of a freestanding inflatable structure. The blower's frame can have a domed or a substantially planar top. A two-part impeller with a related conus assembly is also disclosed.

    摘要: A telescoping catheter is adapted to provide improved support and protection for a drive cable by providing, in addition to an outer sheath and a telescoping sheath, an inner sheath surrounding the drive cable. The outer sheath has a relatively larger diameter, to allow for a flared end of the telescoping sheath to pass freely within the outer sheath. The inner sheath protects and supports the drive cable when the telescoping catheter is extended and the drive cable would otherwise only be protected and supported by the outer sheath having a diameter too large to provide the desired amount of support and protection for the drive cable.

    摘要: A low air loss mattress to provide a variable pressure to an individual who is confined to a bed. The mattress has an air plenum and a motor driven blower to inflate the air plenum. The blower is housed within a pull-out and interchangeable pump cartridge that is received within a pump cartridge receptacle inside the mattress. The pump cartridge is removable from the pump cartridge receptacle to permit the blower to be repaired or replaced without having to discard the mattress. Ambient air is supplied to the blower by way of a tuned air pump inlet path that winds between a pair of sound absorbing blocks. Air is blown front the blower to the air plenum by way of a tuned air manifold that is located inside the mattress to inflate the air plenum. Bluetooth compatible sensors located inside the mattress are responsive to physical parameters to which the mattress is subjected.

    摘要: A spring-loaded quick-release mechanism to a locking security grille is triggered by (i) manual activation, preferably through a foot switch, or (ii) fire, typically through a thermal fuse. Fins incorporated in, and/or affixed to the bars of, a security grille are preferably rotating, normally in phase, so as to serve as a louver or, when completely closed, an interlocked security shield, or panel. One locking release mechanism, which may optionally be quick release, has a sliding bar with alternate (i) extension and (ii) notch regions that respective engage the ends of solid, purely cylindrical, elongate prisms, normally cylindrical bars, to respective lock, and disengage, these prisms in a security grille. Finally, a security grille with standard universal retention assemblies variously serves to retain any, and any combinations, of tubular bars, solid bars, fins mounted to bars, and solid fins. Any of these spanning elements may variously be made from at least both plastic and metal, and are substantially visually undetectably different when so made.
