摘要： A scheduling apparatus and method in a Broadband Wireless Access (BWA) system are provided. A transmitting apparatus includes a storage for buffering a predetermined number of pieces of past channel information with respect to all terminals; a predictor for predicting a future channel status for each terminal by using the predetermined number of pieces of past channel information; and a scheduler for scheduling by assigning a high priority to a terminal of which the future channel status has possibility of becoming worse, by using channel prediction values obtained from the predictor.
