Abstract: A method for playing a digital photograph display apparatus is provided. The method includes connecting the digital photograph display apparatus to a storage area, wherein the storage area has a plurality of digital photographs. In this method, a metadata (for example, the information in an exchange image file—EXIF), of each digital photograph is captured to read the corresponding shooting date of the digital photograph. In addition, a current date information is generated. The corresponding shooting date of each digital photograph is compared with the current date information. A digital photograph is displayed when the shooting date of the digital photograph is related to the current date information.
