摘要： In one embodiment, a system includes a first gateway router and second gateway router that are communicatively coupled to an optical line terminal. The system further includes an optical network terminal communicatively coupled to the optical line terminal, wherein the optical network terminal is configured to direct communications from the first gateway router to the second gateway router when the operation of the first gateway router meets a predetermined threshold.
