摘要： A mechanical face seal has a first seal face member mounted in fixed rotational and radial relationship to one component and sealed with respect thereto; abutment means mounted in fixed rotational and radial relationship to a second component and sealed with respect thereto; and a second seal face member interposed between the first seal face member and the abutment means. Spring means is arranged to apply an axial load between the first and second seal face members, said second seal face member having opposed faces, one of said faces being maintained in sealing engagement with a corresponding face on the first seal face member under the axial load applied by the spring means and the other face being sealed with respect to a corresponding face on said abutment means. Means is provided to interconnect said second seal face member rotationally with respect to said abutment means while permitting limited radial movement therebetween and one of said faces of the second seal face member and the corresponding face of the first seal face member or abutment means is inclined to the axis of the seal, so as to impose a radial load on the second face member. Two such seal assemblies may be provided co-axially of one another to provide a double seal.

摘要： A network service is made available on a device capable of operating on a first network that is coupled to a second network via a Network Address Translator (NAT). One or more User Datagram Protocol (UDP) messages with an entity of the second network. Based on the exchange of UDP messages, an IP address and port used by the NAT on the second network is determined for purposes of accessing the device on the first network via the second network. The IP address and port are registered with a discovery service of the second network. Network services are requested from the device via the second network using the IP address and port obtained via the discovery service. In one arrangement, the exchange of UDP messages involves the use of Simple Traversal of UDP Through NATs (STUN) messages.

Supports may be interconnected to each other by three-way corner connectors (67) or angled connectors (73), and they may be directly connected to one another by means of an insert (20) seated within an indentation of a support and a fastener engaging the insert. The desk frame (1) is strengthened by two-way gussets (114) and three-way gussets (84) provided at junctions of supports. The desk frame (1) may be further provided with an extension (91) to guide doors (42) allowing for storage and access to wiring within the desk frame (1). A back railing (128) is attached to an upper support (29) to define the back of desk frame (1), to provide accessory mounting means allowing installation of such objects as monitor stands, shelves, and lamps, and to facilitate capping of a back-to-back connection of desk frame (1) with another desk frame. Means for permitting side-to-side connection between such desk frames is also provided.

摘要： A holder for a flexible vinyl tube used to siphon water from a fish aquarium has been designed to be affixed permanently to the inside wall of a drainage container. The holder consists of a plastic pipe attached to a curved plastic plate. The inside wall of the pipe is sized and or configured to exert an appropriate and predetermined degree of pressure against the siphon tube. When inserted in the holder, the tube is held in place. When in use, lateral and downward pressure lock the tube in place vertically but also allows for the tube to be swivelled.
