摘要： This invention provides an air freshener dispenser device comprising (1) a disposable air freshener cartridge, and (2) a disposable electrical plug housing. The cartridge has an elongated thermoplastic hollow body configuration with a sealed internal reservoir chamber of liquid air freshener medium, and the upper section of the cartridge body is shaped to a flat shallow extension of the cartridge chamber. An electrical-resistance heating element is affixed on the inner surface of the cartridge chamber shallow extension. A thin wick matrix extends internally from the cartridge chamber bottom up to the top of the chamber shallow extension. The cartridge has an integrally structured means adapted for removal of a top portion of the cartridge chamber shallow extension to expose an upper section of wick matrix to the atmosphere. The electrical plug housing is detachably secured and positioned proximate to the cartridge heating element. Activation of the heating element promotes air freshener dispersion into the atmosphere from the exposed wick.

The disposable electrical plug housing is detachably secured and positioned in front of the cartridge and proximate to the cartridge heating element. The plug housing has two short metal blades which extend through the cartridge vertical slots and engage the reusable electrical plug for conduction of an electrical current to the cartridge heating element, and for heat-promotion of air freshener wicking into the atmosphere.

摘要： A diffusion device includes a housing and an opening in the housing adapted for insertion of a container having an active material therein and a wick extending therefrom. The device further includes a heater disposed in a rear portion of the housing and spaced from the wick when a container is inserted into the housing. A vent is disposed in a front portion of the housing. An active material diffusion-interference member is disposed directly above and axially aligned with the wick when the container is inserted into the device, wherein the diffusion-interference member inhibits diffusion of the active material from the housing such that heat generated by the heater is trapped around the wick, thus increasing volatilization and dispersion of the active material from the diffusion device as compared to a diffusion device that does not have a diffusion-interference member.

摘要： An insect bait station for offering a liquid insect bait to targeted insects and a method of offering liquid insect bait to targeted insects. The insect bait station includes a hollow body having a base and a cover joined in liquid-tight relation. The base has a floor and the cover has a stage positioned generally parallel to and above the floor of the base. The cover has an ascending ramp, that extends upwardly from the cover rim to a cover mount, and a descending ramp that extends downwardly from the cover mount to the stage. Interiorly facing surfaces of the floor and cover define a holding chamber wherein liquid insect bait may be confined. Spill-resistant access means provides a targeted insect located on the stage access to liquid insect bait confined within the holding chamber. Preferably, the spill-resistant access means includes a capillary liquid transport means for transporting the liquid insect bait upwardly from the floor of the base to a location where it is accessible to a targeted insect. The method includes the steps of providing an insect bait station made in accordance with the specification and placing it in a location frequented by the targeted insects.
