Additionally, the second layer (472B) can include a plurality of cut-outs (472BC) that decrease the lateral stiffness of the second layer (472B).

摘要： A resting device assembly for supporting a person during a procedure includes a resting device and an armrest. The resting device supports the person during the treatment and includes a device frame. The armrest includes an arm support, a frame bracket, a frame pivot, and a support arm pivot. The arm support supports an arm of the person. The frame pivot connects the frame bracket to the device frame, and allows the frame bracket and the arm support to concurrently pivot relative to the device frame. The support arm pivot connects the arm support to the frame bracket and allows the arm support to pivot relative to the frame bracket. In certain embodiments, the two pivots of the armrest assembly allows for improved adjustability of the armrest. As a result thereof, the person is more comfortable during the manicure or other procedure.

摘要： A pedicure lounger for supporting a person during a pedicure comprises a seat support, a foot support and a mover assembly. The seat support supports at least a portion of the person during the pedicure. The foot support is coupled to the seat support. The mover assembly selectively moves the foot support relative to the seat support rotationally and translationally between an extended configuration and a retracted configuration. The mover assembly includes a hinge member that is coupled to the foot support. Further, the hinge member provides a rotation axis about which the foot support rotates relative to the seat support. Moreover, the hinge member is slidable relative to the seat support. In particular, the hinge member can slide translationally relative to the seat support during translational movement of the foot support relative to the seat support. The mover assembly can further include an actuator that independently and consecutively moves the foot support rotationally and translationally relative to the seat support.

The frame includes a frame base that supports at least a portion of the person, and a border flange that is secured to the frame base and that extends downward from the frame base. The border flange can include a first side section, a first transverse section that extends transversely to the first side section, and a first connector section that connects the first side section to the first transverse section. The first connector section can be curved. Additionally, the border flange can include a second transverse section that extends substantially parallel to the first transverse section and a curved second connector section that connects the first side section to the second transverse section. A first segment of the first transverse section, a first part of the second transverse section, the entire first side section, the first connector section, and the second connector section are made of a continuous piece of material. For example, the continuous, piece of material can be a continuous piece of plywood that is bent during formation to form the first connector section and the second connector section.

摘要： A resting device assembly for supporting a person above a surface during a procedure includes a resting device and a trolley. The resting device includes a device top assembly having a padded device top that supports the person during the procedure, and a device frame that supports the device top assembly. The device frame includes a frame base, a frame leg assembly having a plurality of spaced apart legs that supports the frame base and the device top assembly above the surface, and a height adjuster that adjusts the length of the plurality of spaced apart legs so as to raise and lower the device top relative to the surface. The frame base is a substantially rigid frame base that significantly increases the overall strength, support, and stability of the resting device assembly. The trolley defines a storage area for storing procedure materials that are usable during the procedure. The trolley is movable relative to the resting device between a storage position, wherein the trolley is positioned substantially beneath the resting device, and a working position, wherein the trolley is positioned next to the resting device. When the trolley is in the working position the procedure materials are easily accessed from the trolley.
