Abstract: A method of discharge and a debris catching device for connection to a discharge pipe of a tank of a septic truck where the device includes a fitting to connect to the pipe and an exposed catcher connected to the fitting such that the catcher has fingers in a spaced relation from an output port of the fitting. The fingers span in spaced relation to each other and allow septage expelled from the fitting to pass through the catcher and onto a field where the truck is moving forward.
