摘要:
A paging method for a multi-carrier cell includes: receiving a paging message sent by a core network device, where the paging message carries user equipment (UE) information; and obtaining a carrier frequency serving the UE according to the UE information, and paging the UE on the carrier frequency, therefore avoiding a waste of paging resources caused by paging on all frequency bands. By using the preceding method, a waste of common paging resources caused by paging on all carrier frequencies in the multi-carrier cell is avoided.

A method and an apparatus for detecting a radio network problem are disclosed. The method includes: when a radio link failure (RLF) problem occurs on a user equipment (UE) in a previous cell, a first base station controlling a new cell that a radio resource control (RRC) connection established with the UE receives problem information about the RLF problem sent by the UE, after the RRC connection is established, and the first base station sends the problem information to a second base station controlling the previous cell. In this way, the network side can automatically identify and detect the radio network problem which occurs on the UE, so that the network can perform self-adjustment and optimization, therefore improving the network performance and satisfying use requirements of users.

The present invention discloses a MBMS dedicated carrier configuration method, including: at least one of MBMS dedicated carriers in a cell is chose and assigned MBMS control information of all MBMS dedicated carriers and MBMS system information; and frequency information and scrambling code group ID information of at least one MBMS dedicated carriers assigned bundling information is assigned to conventional service carriers in the cell. The present invention also discloses a device for realizing said method and a MBMS transmission method based on dedicated carriers assigned the bundling information. The present invention realizes MBMS bundling on the dedicated carriers, and UE can receive services by directly sensing the carriers bearing control signaling, and thus it can reduce meaningless switching sense by the UE and save power.

A method and apparatus of allocating a Physical Cell Identifier (PCI) is disclosed in an embodiment of the present invention allowing different cells to operate on different frequencies while eliminating or reducing risk of PCI conflicts. Thereby PCI allocation is provided that is effective also in a multi-frequency environment.

The present invention relates to the field of mobile communication technologies, and discloses a method, an apparatus, and a system for optimizing a tracking area, and a method, an apparatus, and a system for updating a tracking area. The method for optimizing a tracking area includes the following steps: an Operation, Administration and Maintenance entity obtains an optimization threshold, and performs a tracking area optimization according to the optimization threshold. With the present invention, the Operation, Administration and Maintenance entity can optimize the tracking area automatically.

A method for searching for a broadcast/multicast single frequency network cluster, when a terminal needs to receive the broadcast/multicast service in the broadcast/multicast single frequency network cluster, the terminal synchronizes to a non broadcast/multicast single frequency network cell which is associated with the broadcast/multicast single frequency network cluster; and the terminal searches for the broadcast/multicast single frequency network cluster on the basis of the information indicated by the system information in the non broadcast/multicast single frequency network cell. So that the UE can search for the corresponding MBSFN cluster, and can receive the MBMS service in the searched MBSFN cluster.

The present invention discloses a method for transmitting multimedia broadcast multicast services, comprising the following steps: a Time Division Duplex system divides a time slot for bearing multimedia broadcast multicast services into code channels; each multimedia broadcast multicast service to be transmitted is borne on a corresponding divided code channel, and is transmitted to a user equipment based on the single frequency network mode of the multimedia broadcast multicast service. The present invention also discloses a method for receiving multimedia broadcast multicast services, and apparatus for transmitting and receiving multimedia broadcast multicast services, such that time slot resources for bearing multimedia broadcast multicast services are utilized more sufficiently.
