摘要: An organic light-emitting device is provided. The organic light-emitting device comprises a first electrode, a second electrode, and a light-emitting layer interposed between the first electrode and the second electrode. The device further comprises of a phosphorescent dopant and a phosphorescent host that includes at least two hole transport materials. The mixed phosphorescent host materials increase energy transfer efficiency, thereby improving the efficiency and lifespan of the resulting organic light-emitting device.

摘要: An organic light-emitting device is provided that includes an emission layer containing a phosphorescent dopant and a bipolar phosphorescent host interposed between a first electrode and a second electrode. The bipolar phosphorescent host is a compound represented by formula 1: A—C—B (1) where A is a hole transport unit, B is an electron transport unit, and C is a bond or a linking group. The bipolar compound can transport both holes and electrons. The organic light-emitting device has high efficiency and a long lifetime.

摘要: An organic light emitting display device is disclosed. The device includes a substrate; a first electrode formed on the substrate; an organic layer including at least an emission layer and formed on the first electrode; and a second electrode formed on the organic layer. The emission layer includes a host and a dopant material. The dopant is one of materials having the structure of Formula 1, where R may be one selected from the group consisting of ethylene, an ethylene derivative, stilbene, a stilbene derivative. Also, R1 to R6 may be different from or equal to each other, and each is selected from the group consisting of a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom, a substituted or unsubstituted C1 to C20 alkyl group, a substituted or unsubstituted C1 to C20 alkoxy group, a substituted or unsubstituted C5 to C20 aryl group, a C3 to C30 heterocyclic group, and an aliphatic C3 to C30 hydrocarbon group.

摘要: An organic electroluminescent device includes an emission layer interposed between a first electrode and a second electrode. The emission layer may be composed of a host material and a phosphorescent dopant material. The host material may be composed of a mixture of a hole transport material and an electron transport material. The hole transport material may be a carbazole compound and the electron transport material may include at least a compound selected from spirofluorenes and organic metal complexes. The use of the mixture facilitates the re-combination of holes and electrons in neighboring organic layers, thus decreasing the driving voltage and increasing the luminous efficiency and lifetime of the organic electroluminescent device.

摘要: An organic EL device which has a light emission layer between a pair of electrodes. The light emission layer is formed of a phosphorescent dopant and a host including (i) a carbazole compound and (ii) one or more selected from an oxadiazole compound, a phenanthroline compound, a triazine compound, and a triazole compound. Since the host has both hole transport property and electron transport property, the organic EL device has enhanced emission efficiency and lifetime characteristics even in the absence of a hole-blocking layer.
