    摘要: An apparatus dynamically assigns external home agent (HA) for VPNs and a method for the same is proposed. The apparatus establishes VPN between an internal network and at least one external network, whereby a mobile node (MN) can roam in the external network with security. The external HA closest to the MN in the visited external network is selected for mobility management of the MN. The MN only needs to register with the same external HA when roaming in the same external network. The handoff latency and end-to-end latency for a roaming MN, therefore, could be reduced significantly. It will also not reestablish the IPsec tunnel within the same external network.

    摘要: A power supply employs an error detecting circuit to output an error signal when detecting an overvoltage or overcurrent occurred in one of output powers and employs a latch trigger circuit to cause the power supply to enter a latch mode when receiving the error signal. In addition, the power supply employs the error detecting circuit to provide the accurate safety threshold value by the constant current source with temperature compensation function and stable constant current output.

    摘要: A light-emitting diode (LED) current balance circuit includes a reference current generator, a current mirror and a voltage compensation circuit. The reference current generator provides a reference current robust against disturbance in a supply voltage applied to the reference current generator. The current mirror generates, according to the reference current, sink currents to bias lightbars and employs a structure to reduce the influence of unmatched transistors on the sink currents so as to stabilize and clamp currents through the lightbar. The voltage compensation circuit detects the voltages across the lightbars to compensate the lightbars having various forward voltages so as to ensure the turn-on of all lightbars and effectively balance the currents through the lightbars. Therefore, the invention employs simpler circuit architecture and not need a specific-purpose LED controller so as to be cheaper and more competitive.

During a first period, the control circuit disables the second current mirror and adjusts the duration of enabling the first current mirror according to a dimming signal. During a second period, the control circuit disables the first current mirror and adjusts the duration of enabling the second current mirror according to the dimming signal. Therefore, only first or second lightbars are driven in each period.
