摘要： This application discloses a new modification of a two-screw press of the known type in which the screws are of the Mapre type, i.e. have a rectangular thread profile. The modification concerns the depth of the thread. Its use is advantageous for promoting the reaction of fibrous cellulose with alkali, or with alkali and with a liquid or solid etherifying agent, or for promoting the reaction of fibrous alkali cellulose with a liquid or solid etherifying agent.
