Abstract: The described technology relates to a backlight unit and a display device including the backlight unit. In one aspect, the backlight unit includes a light source and a light guiding plate configured to guide light emitted from the light source. The backlight unit also includes an optical sheet integrally formed with the light guiding plate and including a micro pattern configured to emit light reflected from the light guiding plate.
