Abstract: Provided is a hydrogen storage system including a solution including ethylenediamine bisborane (EDAB) and ethylenediamine (ED), in which the hydrogen storage system is capable of performing a reversible dehydrogenation/hydrogenation reaction at a temperature of 20° C. to 200° C. in the presence of a heterogeneous metal catalyst including ruthenium (Ru), rhodium (Rh), palladium (Pd), osmium (Os), iridium (Jr), platinum (Pt), nickel (Ni), iron (Fe), cobalt (Co), or a combination thereof.
