Abstract: The present disclosure relates to an electrolyte operable in wide temperature ranges and a lithium battery including the same. By dissolving two or more lithium salts in a mixture solvent including three or more different acyclic alkyl carbonate compounds, reactivity with lithium metal and freezing point are decreased at the same time and, therefore, the lifetime characteristics and electrochemical performance of a lithium-ion battery, a lithium-metal battery, or a lithium-ion capacitor using the same are improved significantly.
