Abstract: A linear drive for a stretch and/or blow moulding machine has a force sensor for detecting actual force absorption of the linear drive during operation, a storage device in which data for a desired force absorption during operation are stored, and a comparison device for comparing actual force absorption with desired force absorption and a signal emitter for outputting a signal if a previously defined deviation between desired force absorption and actual force absorption is exceeded. Also provided is a method for determining a friction coefficient of a linear drive for a stretching and/or blow moulding machine, by determining a desired force absorption of the linear drive during operation, detecting using a force sensor, actual force absorption of the linear drive during operation, comparing actual force absorption with desired force absorption, and outputting a signal if a previously defined deviation between desired force absorption and actual force absorption is exceeded.

Abstract: The invention relates to a production system for producing, processing and/or filling containers and to a method for the production control and/or system specification of this production system. According to the invention, at least one visually imperceptible intensive state variable or material characteristic of components of the containers, which components are provided as solid bodies, is measured in the area of the production system with respect to the batch and/or object in question. Furthermore, at least one production process proceeding therein for treating and/or transporting the components/containers by machine is controlled on the basis of the measured material characteristic and/or intensive state variable. In this way, quality fluctuations of the components can be quantified and can be used both in the control and in a simulation of the individual production processes in order to optimize these production processes and the associated process units.

Abstract: A device for transporting containers comprises at least two transport devices for the containers, at least two servo motors, at least two position sensors, and at least one control unit. The at least one control unit is to control the at least two servo motors, by closed-loop control, based on a comparison of positions determined by respective position sensors of the at least two position sensors and respective target positions. The at least one control unit is further to bring the at least two servo motors to a standstill in the event of a fault of a position sensor, wherein: a) a servo motor is brought to a standstill in a closed-loop manner using the position if it is determinable by the position sensor, or b) the servo motor is brought to a standstill in an open-loop manner based on the target position if the position is not determinable.
