    Abstract: To provide an engine head structure for “omission or shortening a fuel pipe that withstands a high pressure”, “simplification or omission of a support bracket for a fuel accumulator and/or a fuel injection device”, “reduction of the number of parts” by devising a fuel accumulator and a support structure therefor, and the like. An engine head structure has a support bracket for mounting a fuel accumulator including a joining portion with a fuel injection device on a cylinder head, is disposed on a side of the fuel injection device or between adjacent fuel injection devices. The support bracket includes a member having a mounting portion on which the fuel accumulator is placed and mounted, a mounting leg portion extending from the mounting portion and mounted on the cylinder head, and an aligning leg portion extending from the mounting portion for positioning the support bracket with respect to the cylinder head.

    Abstract: A diesel engine 30 includes an injector 4 that uses a solenoid to directly drive a needle valve and inject a fuel and an injector control device 2 that controls the driving by the injector 4. The injector control device 2 includes a charge voltage control circuit 22, a storage unit 25 that stores a correction value related to an injection amount of the fuel injected from the injector 4, and an injector control circuit 24 that controls the driving by the injector 4 on the basis of each of a voltage supplied from the charge voltage control circuit 22 and the correction value stored in the storage unit 25. The correction value is set according to a voltage applied to a terminal of the injector control device 2 connected to a load when a current starts to flow in the load connected to the injector control device 2.

    Abstract: Provided is an injector control device which is capable of setting a preceding injection amount to a fuel injection amount that is less than a main injection amount, while suppressing situations where preceding injections executed prior to a main injection in multi-stage injection are eliminated.
    An injector control device 2 includes: an injection amount setting unit 211 that sets, as a total injection amount, a total of fuel injection amounts in multi-stage injection in a single cycle, and sets, as a preceding injection amount, a fuel injection amount in a preceding injection executed prior to a main injection in the multi-stage injection; an energization period setting unit 212 that sets an energization period of an injector 31 based on the fuel injection amounts set by the injection amount setting unit 211; and an injector driving unit 213 that controls driving of the injector 31 based on the energization period set by the energization period setting unit 212. The injection amount setting unit 211 sets a fuel injection amount that is a predetermined percentage of the total injection amount as the preceding injection amount.

    Abstract: There is provided a vertical multicylinder straight engine in which the temperature distribution of a plurality of cylinder barrels is made close to an even state. A cylinder jacket includes: a jacket inlet; a separated channel; a plurality of separated outlets; and heat dissipater channels for dissipating heat of the respective cylinder barrels to engine cooling water introduced through the separated outlets. The plurality of separated outlets include: a front-side separated outlet to a front-end barrel; a rear-side separated outlet to a rear-end barrel; and middle separated outlets to middle barrels between the front-end barrel and the rear-end barrel, and the jacket inlet is disposed so as to be contained within an entire middle barrel side area that is lateral to the middle barrels and has a front-rear length as long as a length from a front-most end to a rear-most end of the middle barrels.
