Abstract: An electronic fuel injection type diesel engine enables reduction in engine size. The electronic fuel injection type diesel engine is provided with: a combustion chamber inside a cylinder; a fuel injection chamber inside a cylinder head; a fuel injector that injects liquid fuel into the fuel injection chamber; a fuel accumulation unit that accumulates the liquid fuel injected from the fuel injector; and an electronic control unit that controls a timing and an amount of injection of the liquid fuel.
