Abstract: Provided is an image forming apparatus that prevents the image forming apparatus being operated in a state where a user setting value is changed by a maintenance worker before a user is aware of the change without lowering efficiency of a maintenance work. The image forming apparatus according to the present disclosure is an image forming apparatus whose operation is controlled based on a setting value, and the setting value contains an operation control user setting value set by an administrator user having administrator authority. The image forming apparatus includes a maintenance work processing part that prohibits a general user having no administrator authority from using the image forming apparatus until the administrator user approves the operation control user setting value changed by the maintenance worker if the operation control user setting value is changed by the maintenance worker having the administrator authority.
