    摘要： The present invention provides a process cartridge removably mountable to a main body of an electrophotographic image forming apparatus, the process cartridge including an electrophotographic photosensitive member, a process device that acts on the electrophotographic photosensitive member and has a blade member acting on toner and a support member for supporting the blade member, and a seal member provided for preventing the toner from leaking from a predetermined area. The seal member is formed from liquid-foam material to be solidified as an elastomer, and the seal member is contacted with an edge portion of the support member.

    摘要： A process cartridge removably mountable in an image forming system, includes an image bearing member, process means acting on the image bearing member, a first member which forms a part of a developer container for containing developer, a second member which forms a part of the developer container for containing the developer, a seal member obtained by solidifying liquid material as an elastomer and disposed on connection surfaces at which the first and second members are joined to each other, and a regulating means provided in the connection surface of the first member to be joined to the second member and adapted to regulate the movement of the liquid material. An image forming system to which such a process cartridge can be removably mounted, and a method for assembling such a process cartridge, also are provided.

    摘要： A process cartridge detachably mountable to a main assembly of an electrophotographic image forming apparatus, wherein the main assembly includes a motor, a main assembly side gear for receiving driving force from the motor and a hole defined by twisted surfaces, the hole being substantially coaxial with the gear, the process cartridge includes an electrophotographic photosensitive drum; process means actable on the photosensitive drum; and a projection engageable with the twisted surfaces, the projection being provided at a longitudinal end of the photosensitive drum, wherein the projection is non-twisted, and when the main assembly side gear rotates with the hole and projection engaged with each other, rotational driving force is transmitted from the gear to the photosensitive drum through engagement between the hole and the projection.
