The rotation guide shaft has a rotation stopping projection. The lamp body has a guide bearing which has a guide groove engaged with the rotation stopping projection, and is engaged with the rotation guide shaft. A second connector, connected to the lamp body, is fittingly connected to the first connector while being rotated.

摘要： A shield connector includes plural female terminals 2, a connector housing 3, and a shield shell 8. The connector housing 3 includes a terminal holder 6 that holds the plural female terminals 2 and an inner housing 5 into which the terminal holder 6 is inserted. The shield shell 8 includes an upper shield shell 25 and a lower shield shell that are attached to each other so as to cover the outer periphery of the inner housing 5. The upper shield shell 25 includes an extension wall 30 which detects the state where the terminal holder 6 is being inserted into the inner housing by overlapping with at least a part of a surface 6a of the terminal holder 6 on the rear end side in an insertion direction toward the inner housing 5 in the state where the upper shield shell is attached to the inner housing 5 and by coming into contact with the terminal holder 6 so as to regulate the upper shield shell 25 from being attached to the inner housing 5 in the state where the terminal holder 6 is being inserted into the inner housing 5.

As a result, a pair of retaining pawls 37 are put in engagement with the engaging holes 15, whereby the plug pin 1 and the insulating housing 3 are fixed to each other. Since the plug pin 1 and the insulating housing 3 are fixed together by both press-fit engagement of the plug pin 1 into the insulating housing 3 and engagement of the retaining pawls 37 with the engaging holes 15, the strength of the fixing is enhanced.

摘要： A rear holder usable for both a female connector housing and a male connector housing includes a plurality of partition pieces each extending in a transverse direction at a right angle relative to cables, causing a plurality of partition slots to be formed between adjacent partition pieces with a predetermined distance held therebetween. Engagement pawls adapted to be engaged with engagement holes or recesses formed through a wall of the connector housing are formed at foremost ends of the partition pieces. To assure that a single kind of rear holder can be used for both of the female connector housing and the male connector housing, the engagement pawls are arranged in a zigzag-shaped pattern as viewed from one side. In practice, when the rear holder is used for the female connector housing, it is fitted to the latter while one side of the rear holder having stepped parts formed thereon faces stepped parts of the female connector housing. When the rear holder is used for the male connector housing, it is inverted so as to allow the other side of the rear holder having a flat surface to be fitted to a rear holder receiving chamber of the male connector housing having stepped part formed thereon.

摘要： In a connector whose exposed terminals are connected to a mating connector having a terminal portion of a flexible printed circuit, the invention provides a terminal cover structure which prevents terminals from being exposed when the connector is disconnected. The terminal cover structure has a slidable protective cover that protects the exposed terminals of the connector. With the protective cover retracted, the exposed terminals are brought into contact with the exposed terminal portion of the mating connector. Either of the protective cover or the mating connector is provided with an engagement portion which consists of resilient clamping pieces to draw out the protective cover. The other is provided with a second engagement portion that engages with the first engagement portion.

摘要： In an electrical connector, a metal terminal is provided with a stabilizer piece which hangs from a bottom of the terminal to facilitate straight-line insertion of the terminal into a terminal retainer in a connector housing. The terminal retainer has a smooth surface from which a passage guide projection extends, forming a guide for movement of the stabilizer piece. The height of the projection is greater than the depth of the stabilizer piece, so that the metal terminal slides smoothly into the terminal retainer, while the stabilizer piece still is able to prevent rotation of the terminal during insertion.
