摘要： An input apparatus, a control apparatus, a control system, and a control method that are capable of making a movement of a pointer on a screen a natural movement that matches an intuition of a user are provided. An input apparatus includes a casing, an acceleration sensor, and an angular velocity sensor. The acceleration sensor detects an acceleration value of the casing in a first direction. The angular velocity sensor detects an angular velocity about an axis in a second direction different from the first direction. Instead of calculating a velocity value of the casing by simply integrating the detected acceleration value, the velocity value of the casing in the first direction is calculated based on the acceleration value and the angular velocity value that have been detected. As a result, a highly-accurate calculation of the velocity value of the casing becomes possible, and a movement of a pointer on a screen becomes a natural movement that matches a sense of a user based on a displacement corresponding to the velocity value.

摘要： To provide an input apparatus, a control apparatus, a control system, and a control method that are capable of restricting a movement of a pointer on a screen by a user operation even while the input apparatus is moving. In a state where a movement button is not pressed by a user, an MPU of an input apparatus is not outputting a movement command or is outputting a movement command with a displacement amount set to 0. In other words, even when the user holds the input apparatus and moves it, a pointer does not move on a screen. As a result, a movement of the pointer unintended by the user can be restricted. When the movement button is pressed, that is, when a first operation signal is input via a first switch, the MPU starts outputting the movement command. By receiving the movement command, an MPU of a control apparatus controls display of the pointer so as to start the movement of the pointer that corresponds to the movement command.

摘要： An input apparatus, a control apparatus, a control system, and a control method therefor, that are capable of solving a problem on gravity that affects an acceleration sensor of an input apparatus when tilted from its original position, and reducing a calculation amount are provided. An MPU of an input apparatus corrects angular velocity values by rotational coordinate conversion corresponding to a calculated roll angle to obtain correction angular velocity values (second and first correction angular velocity values) as correction values. Accordingly, even when a user moves the input apparatus in a state where the input apparatus is tilted with respect to an axis in a gravity direction (vertical axis) about a Z axis, effects of gravity acceleration components in X′- and Y′-axis directions that are generated by the tilt can be removed.

摘要： An input apparatus outputting input information for controlling a movement of a user interface displayed on a screen is provided. The input apparatus includes: an angular velocity output unit for outputting a first angular velocity about a first axis, a second angular velocity about a second axis. A third angular velocity about a third axis; a combination calculates unit calculating a first combined angular velocity as a combination result of two angular velocities obtained by respectively multiplying the second and third angular velocities by two migration coefficients of a predetermined ratio. An output unit outputs, as the input information, information on the first angular velocity for controlling a movement of the user interface on the screen in an axial direction corresponding to the second axis and information on the first combined angular velocity for controlling the movement of the user interface on the screen in an axial direction corresponding to the first axis.
