摘要： This invention relates to compositions comprising 1-aryl-4,5-dihydro-1,2,4-triazol-5(1H)-ones (triazolinones) in combination with the herbicide (2,4-dichlorophenoxy)acetic acid (2,4-D), or like substituted phenoxyalkanoic acids, or esters, or alkali metal or ammonium salts thereof; or with certain herbicidal sulfonylureas, or mixtures of these classes of compounds, to provide herbicidal compositions which are highly effective against a broad array of crop weeds, particularly broadleaf weeds, in crops such as wheat.

摘要： Described herein is a method for defoliating a crop plant or desiccating a crop vine plant to aid in harvesting the crop which comprises the step of applying to the plant an effective amount of a composition comprising a benzyloxyphenyluracil having the formula ##STR1## where R is an alkyl group of one to six carbons, in admixture with an agriculturally suitable carrier. The method is particularly effective at low use rates as an aid for harvesting potatoes and cotton.

摘要： This invention relates to a method for controlling the weeds Papever, Matricharia, Viola, and/or Polygonum in cereal crops comprising the step of applying to the locus where the weed control is desired a herbicidal formulation comprised of a benzyluracil having the formula ##STR1## where V is chlorine; W is chlorine or methoxy; X is hydrogen; Y is chlorine or methoxy; and R is methyl or amino. Preferred benzyluracils are those where R is methyl.
