    摘要: A process for producing a film pattern, in which a layer of photosensitive resin composition is formed on a substrate and exposed selectively through a mask to light to thereby obtain a film pattern provided on its surface with protrusions and depressions without the need to remove the layer of photosensitive resin composition at unexposed regions or exposed regions by, for example, development; and a photosensitive resin composition for use in the above process for producing a film pattern. There is provided a process for producing a patterned film, comprising the steps of preparing a photosensitive resin composition that upon light irradiation, generates an acid or a base and is hardened; coating substrate (2) with the photosensitive resin composition to thereby form photosensitive resin composition layer (1) of given thickness; and exposing the photosensitive resin composition layer (1) selectively through mask (3) to light so as to travel at least portion of the photosensitive resin composition at unexposed regions toward the exposed regions and further effect hardening thereof, thereby obtaining patterned film (1A) furnished on its surface with protrusion/depression pattern.

    摘要: A nickel hydrogen storage battery is provided which includes an electrode assembly formed by winding spirally a strip-like negative electrode (4) and a strip-like positive electrode with a separator interposed therebetween, the strip-like negative electrode (4) having a mixture layer containing a hydrogen storage alloy disposed on a core material. The electrode assembly is contained in a bottomed cylindrical container such that the negative electrode (4) forms the outermost peripheral portion. A portion corresponding to an outermost peripheral portion (5) of the negative electrode is a thin portion, and the thin portion is bent in advance in the winding direction of the electrode assembly to form an arc shape. In this manner, when the spirally wound electrode assembly is configured, the outermost peripheral portion of the negative electrode is prevented from peeling from the electrode assembly, and thus the insertability into the bottomed cylindrical container is improved.

A paste film is spread on the flat board by moving the flat board 1 by a length corresponding to the length of one holding plate while a predetermined gap is maintained between the squeegee blade and the flat board. The electrode paste is applied to first end surfaces of electronic components C held by the holding plate H by dipping the first end surfaces of the electronic components C in this paste film. The electrode paste is applied to the first end surfaces of the electronic components a plurality of times by repeating the spreading step and the applying step.

In the nickel metal hydride rechargeable battery, the surface roughness of the outermost peripheral portion of the mixture layer of the negative electrode (1) which contacts an inner side wall of the closed-end tubular container is 3.5 μm or more in terms of ten-point average roughness and is larger than the surface roughness of the other portion of the mixture layer. The reduction of oxygen gas during rapid charging is thereby facilitated without lowering the design capacity of the battery.
