摘要： A modular jack and a modular jack connector which are suitable for use in twisted pair wiring system and suppress coupling in and out of a modular jack are provided. A modular jack, comprising, a hollow housing of which one end is opened, and eight conductor pins which are arranged with predetermined intervals to right and left directions inside said housing, each of said conductor pins has bending portion projecting toward said opening portion (this direction is defined by “forward”), lower part of said each conductor pin corresponds to a conductor pin leg which passes through bottom of said housing, when numbers from No. 1 to No. 8 are given respectively to said each conductor pin starting from right, each set of conductor pins of No. 1 and No. 2, No. 3 and No. 6, No. 4 and No. 5, and No. 7 and No. 8 is used respectively as conductor pair, bending portions of said No. 3 and No. 6 conductor pins are positioned more forward than bending portions of other conductor pins, and conductor pin legs of said No. 3 and No. 6 conductor pins are positioned more forward than conductor pin legs of other conductor pins.

摘要： A modular plug which is fitted in a modular jack so as to connect twisted pair wires is provided. The modular plug comprises a housing, a guide plate which is fitted in the housing so as to separate the twisted pair wires from one another, and terminals and which are connected to electric wires untwisted from the tips of the twisted pair wires, wherein the separated twisted pair wires are held between the internal surfaces of the housing and the guide plate, thereby reducing near end crosstalk and keeping an attenuation thereof within a predetermined range.

摘要： There are provided a housing having a fitting section to fit a mating connector therein; a terminal that can contact with the mating connector fitted in the fitting section; a shielding plate that covers an outer portion of the housing; and a grounding spring that is provided in the fitting section of the housing and is electrically isolated from the shielding plate. The grounding spring has a contact section to contact with the mating connector fitted in the fitting section, and a grounding section to connect to the ground. The shielding plate has a grounding section to connect to ground. There may be further provided a current shielding member between the grounding section of the grounding spring of the receptacle connector and the ground.
