    摘要: Systems and methods are provided for estimating temporal changes in trace gas fluxes from a modifier of such trace gases. A method can include obtaining measurement amounts of trace gases from measurement sites in a region associated with the modifier. The method also includes computing modeled amounts of the trace gases based on an atmospheric transport model and prior estimates of trace gas flux from the modifier. The method further includes identifying corresponding portions of the measurement amounts and the modeled amounts associated with a time periods during which the spatial differences in measured amounts are predicted to be primarily due to the trace gas flux from the modifier. The method additionally includes selecting as a current estimate of the trace gas flux from the modifier a prior estimate associated with a difference between the corresponding measurement amounts and modeled amounts meet criteria.
