    摘要： An apparatus for dispensing a post-foaming gel soap is disclosed. The dispenser includes a housing containing a first actuator and a second actuator. A motor is operatively connected to said first and second actuator. A circuit is connected to said motor, as well as a sensor assembly and a power supply. In operation, said first and second actuator moves a stem valve and a cylindrical pump located on a reservoir containing a gel soap and an inert propellant gas. The cylindrical pump operates on a piston principle and also closes to prevent any dripping after use. Further disclosed are various methods of accurately dispensing a consistent dose of gel soap.

    摘要： A weighing instrument for the analysis of the weight-related characteristics of different materials has a pointer rotated about an axis in response to the weight of the material and which indicates a selected characteristic of the material on a selected graduated scale carried by an interchangeable slide. In the preferred embodiment, the weighing instrument is part of a diet control system also including an organized set of interchangeable slides each of which carries a number of concentric scales graduated in calories for respective food or drink items in a related food group. To facilitate handling of the slides, the slides are rigid and rectangular, and the weighing instrument has a rectangular slot for receiving and holding the slides under the force of their own weight. The pointer is protected by being carried on a circular disc and being covered by a viewing window which also serves to define the rectangular slot for receiving the slides. The slides are conveniently arranged in a horizontal stack which may be indexed according to major food groups. The slides in the stack are readily identified by generic names imprinted on the top edge faces of the slides.

    摘要： An apparatus and controlling circuitry for periodically operating an aerosol container in discrete dispensing intervals to disperse a discrete quantity of the contents thereof. The apparatus includes a powered mechanism for actuating the aerosol, with the circuitry controlling the powered mechanism for a predetermined number of actuations. An energizing means activates a warning mechanism when the actuation count reaches the predetermined number to thereby indicate the probable total evacuation of the aerosol container and the necessity for termination of the operation. The apparatus also includes means for setting the circuitry into a plurality of different operating modes, including a continuous intermittent operation, a controlled daytime operation, and a controlled night operation. The apparatus may be battery operated, and it then includes a second warning mechanism for indicating whether the battery power is sufficient to operate the powered mechanism.
