    摘要： A juvenile safety car seat has a seat portion and a backrest portion forming a support and defining a support space for supporting a child. A pair of side guards are outwardly movably provided on left and right sides of the backrest portion for protecting the head and the shoulder regions of the child. The lower portions of the side guards, which protect the child's shoulders, have a greater range of outward lateral movement than the upper portions of the side guards, which protect the child's head. A vertical position adjusting mechanism for adjusting the vertical position of the backrest portion is provided between the seat portion and the backrest portion. The car seat can be selectively adjusted to suit the growth state of the child.

The user can further fix the vertical position by changing the direction of a switch portion.

The head supporter is disposed in such a manner as to be freely folded over at a back surface of the back pad in a state where the connection via the connecting parts is maintained. Thus, there is provided a nursery band capable of varying the manner with the reduced number of component parts.
