Abstract: A rollback dump truck having a chassis, a support frame, a bed frame, and a latching extension. The chassis further having at least one rear axle laterally extending between two sides and a pivotal axis parallel and rearward thereof. The subframe assembly is positioned above and supported by the chassis and is operatively connected thereto at a hinge point aligned with the pivotal axis. The subframe assembly may pivot about the hinge point away from the chassis to positions that include a dump position and a load position. Additionally, the bed frame may slide relative to the support frame in the load position while the load angle is held constant by the latching extension.
