Abstract:
A defect detector in a data disc system includes a defect estimation unit and a defect length counter. The defect detector inputs a RF signal from a pick-up unit for generating a defect signal. The defect length counter interprets the defect signal using a wobble signal and a header position (ESFS) signal to generate defect length information. A system controller determines which sector of the data disc has unacceptable defect from the defect length information to reassign such a sector to another available sector on the data disc.

The multi-pole circuit breaker includes: a substrate disposed between the single pole breaking unit, spaced relatively far from the switching mechanism as compared to the other single pole breaking units among the plurality of single breaking units, and the adjacent single pole breaking unit; a link mechanism rotatably supported on the substrate; and springs having one ends supported by the substrate and the other ends supported by the link mechanism.

In a terminal of a standard, plug-in or box type molded case circuit breaker, a terminal module assembly for a molded case circuit breaker capable of being removable by easily selecting the terminal type, and a molded case circuit breaker having the terminal module assembly, the terminal module assembly comprising a plurality of terminals provided to selectively have a standard, plug-in or box type and electrically connected to fixed contactors, a plurality of terminal bases provided as many as the number of the terminals and selectively having the standard, plug-in or box type, thus to fixedly support each of the terminals, wherein each terminal is assembled to each terminal base to obtain a terminal module intermediate assembly, and a common supporting base for supporting all of the plurality of intermediate assemblies regardless of the terminal type or terminal base type, wherein the terminal module assemblies having the construction can be attached/detached to/from the molded case circuit breaker.

A pressure trip device for a circuit breaker comprises a plurality of single pole switching units, each unit corresponding to each electrical phase hermetically mounting movable contactors and fixed contactors in an insulated case in order to switch electrical circuits according to each phase, having arc gas exhaust port, and connected to one another by a shaft; a switching mechanism connected to one of the single pole switching units for contacting or separating the movable contactor of the connected single pole switching unit to/from the fixed contactor of the connected single pole switching unit; a trip bar connected to the switching mechanism for tripping the switching mechanism; a gas pressure shooter facing the trip bar, and perpendicularly movable between a position for rotating the trip bar by a pressurization and a position separated from the trip bar; and a protrusion wall portion having a pair of wall portions facing to each other and perpendicularly extending from at least one outer surface of each case of the single pole switching units, having one wall portion for connecting lower ends of the pair of wall portions to each other, and forming a gas pressure storing space for supporting the gas pressure shooter to be perpendicularly movable and connected to the arc gas exhaust port. Accordingly, the circuit breaker is tripped faster than the conventional one using a tripping process by mechanisms of multi-step.
