摘要： Provided is a rotary tool with a compact tip tool holding portion (80). The rotary tool is provided with a sleeve (81) attached to an output shaft (41) to switch a tip tool (70) between a fixed state and a detachable state. The output shaft (41) has a through hole (46) formed therein radially penetrating from the inside to the outside of a mounting hole thereof. The through hole (46) has a steel ball (85) provided therein such that at least a part of the steel ball (85) overlaps at least a part of a case (10). The sleeve (81) defines a first position in the outward direction of the steel ball (85), while the case (10) regulates a second position on the radially outer side of the first position.
