Abstract: An image processing apparatus that performs a job of converting an image of a document into data and transmitting the generated image data includes: a display that displays a screen on which a user designates a transmission destination; a calculator that calculates a predicted time taken to perform the job under each of a plurality of conditions having mutually different setting values in converting the image into image data; a display controller that controls to display the predicted times individually calculated for the plurality of conditions on the display; and a job execution controller that controls to execute the job under a selected condition out of the plurality of conditions.
