A transparent display device includes a transparent display panel to display an image through opposing first and second screens, and a driving unit to provide a user interface to the transparent display panel, and to rotate, in response to a user input, an object displayed on the first screen and display the object on the second screen. Accordingly, users located at two sides of the transparent display device may be provided with an intuitive user interface.

A sleeve type smart device comprises: a cylindrical flexible display panel which displays seamless continuous images on an outer surface thereof, and has a sleeve-shaped form of which the inside is empty; a sensing unit located at an inner surface of the flexible display panel so as to recognize an entity located inside the flexible display panel; a mode selection unit for automatically selecting an operation mode corresponding to the recognized entity; and a control unit for controlling so as to operate in the operation mode selected by the mode selection unit. Accordingly, the implementation of the seamless images is possible and one device could be used in various ways according to an installation state.

A flexible display apparatus includes a flexible panel having a display unit for displaying a screen and a user interface for allowing a user input, a detecting unit configured to detect a handheld location on the flexible panel, and a control unit configured to change locations of the display unit and the user interface on the flexible panel according to the handheld location. Since the apparatus may be used without being hidden by the hand of a user, readability and work performance may be improved.

A gaze tracking device includes a first image acquisition unit installed at a right side of a face of a user to acquire a side image of a right eye, a second image acquisition unit installed at a left side of the face of the user to acquire a side image of a left eye, a fixing unit to fix the first image acquisition unit and the second image acquisition unit, and a gaze tracking unit to track a gaze position of the user by deriving a pupil and iris area, a sclera area, and an angle between eyelids from the side image of the right eye and the side image of the left eye. Accordingly, accurate gaze tracking is ensured while realizing a compact and lightweight gaze tracking device.
