Abstract: The disclosure relates to a system for heating and/or cooling, in particular pasteurizing, closed containers filled with an in particular liquid filling material. The system comprises a transport device designed to transport the containers in a transport direction, a device designed to heat and/or cool the containers according to a temperature profile along the transport direction, and a control device designed to control a transport speed of the transport device and the temperature profile. The control device is designed to control the transport speed during the time change between a stop and a nominal transport speed and to control the temperature profile as a function of a predicted system parameter. The disclosure also relates to a method for heating and/or cooling the closed containers filled with an in particular liquid filling material by means of such a system.

Abstract: The disclosure relates to a method for regulating a velocity of a conveyor belt of a container treatment machine, such as a pasteurizer, in a filling line having a plurality of machines, wherein the method comprises: monitoring a current output of the filling line; when it is determined that the current output falls below a predefined nominal output, operating the conveyor belt at an effective velocity by a timed operation of the conveyor belt at a nominal velocity for a first time period and with stoppage of the conveyor belt for a second time period. Abstract: A method for regulating a transport velocity in a pasteurizer comprises regulating of the transport velocity by changing, such as reducing or increasing, the transport velocity, making a corresponding first change, such as reducing or increasing, of a first number of pasteurization zones by a second number, and making a corresponding second change, such as increasing or reducing, of a third number of cooling zones by the second number. A device for carrying out the method comprises: a pasteurizer having a first number of pasteurization zones and a third number of cooling zones, a transport device for transporting containers at a transport velocity, a control device configured for the changing of the transport velocity, making the corresponding first change, and making the corresponding second change.
