Abstract: The invention relates to a method and a device for buffering containers in a container treatment plant. According thereto, containers are put into storage in a grouped manner in single file on at least one input conveyor belt, are moved in single file on a transversely adjoining buffering surface of shuttles, guided and driven individually on rails, having row pushers, in a buffering direction extending transversely to the input direction, and are taken out of storage on at least one output conveyor belt. Since, furthermore, containers are taken out of storage from the buffering surface by means of branching conveyor belts integrated in the buffering surface, transversely to the buffering direction and independently of the input conveyor belt and output conveyor belt, and/or are put into storage on the buffering surface, it is possible for container flows to be distributed flexibly and combined on the buffering surface.

Abstract: The disclosure relates to a hot glue method for applying hot glue onto labels and/or containers using the hot glue unit, and to a glue vapor suction device for a labeler, comprising a suction opening, a suction, a pre-separation unit, a filter unit, and an outlet opening, which are arranged in communication with one another successively by lines in a direction of flow of the glue vapor through a fluid line system. At least one sensor system is arranged in the suction for verifying proper operation of the glue vapor suction. A hot glue unit is provided comprising at least one glue roller, a glue container, and a housing in which the glue roller is arranged. The hot glue unit comprises a glue vapor suction device connected to the housing for sucking glue vapor from the interior of the housing before it exits the hot glue unit.

Abstract: The invention relates inter alia to an apparatus for conveying and apportioning articles, preferably containers. The apparatus has a single-track conveyor region and a dual-track conveyor region, the latter being arranged directly downstream from the single-track conveyor region and having a first conveyor track and a second conveyor track. The apparatus has a distribution device which is configured to apportion articles, conveyed from the single-track conveyor region, to the first conveyor track and the second conveyor track. The dual-track conveyor region has a height-offset conveyor portion in which the first conveyor track is arranged higher than the second conveyor track. Advantageously, in the height-offset conveyor portion, articles still undistributed can be excited to move to the first conveyor track or the second conveyor track.
