    摘要: An automated method and system for discriminating between normal lungs and abnormal lungs having interstitial disease and/or septal lines, wherein a large number of adjacent regions of interest (ROIs) are selected, corresponding to an area on a digital image of a patient's lungs. The ROIs each contain a number of square or rectangular pixel arrays and are selected to sequentially fill in the total selected area of the lungs to be analyzed. A background trend is removed from each individual ROI and the ROIs are then analyzed to determine those exhibiting sharp edges, i.e., high edge gradients. A percentage of these sharp-edged ROIs are removed from the original sample based on the edge gradient analysis, a majority of which correspond to rib-edge containing ROIs. After removal of the sharp-edged ROIs, texture measurements are taken on the remaining sample in order to compare such data with predetermined data for normal and abnormal lungs. Thus, a computerized scheme for quantitative analysis of interstitial lung diseases and/or septal lines appearing in digitized chest radiographs can be implemented in practical clinical situations.

    摘要: Under the present invention, as a user/developer is developing a software program using an IDE, the user can designate a remote source container(s) (e.g., located on a server or the like that is remote from the local computer system) for one or more source files. When a remote source file is needed (e.g., during debug of the program), a cache on the local computer system will be examined first. If the remote source file is not present, or if the cache is not up to date, the remote system will be called. When the remote source file is received back on the local computer system, it will be stored in the cache and then made available to the user as needed. The system of the present invention is extensible to provide support for various platforms and to provide look up of source files inside additional archive types.

    摘要: The present invention generally combines the concepts of view filtering with query filtering to provide an improved object filtration mechanism. Under the present invention, input for an object and a filter string is received. It is then determined whether the filter string was used in a previous query. If not, a query filter is generated based on the filter string if the filter string was not used in a previous query. Thereafter, a query for the object is generated and performed while applying the query filter. When results of the query are received, a view filter (generated based on the filter string) is used to filter the results. After this additional filtering, a view of the results is generated.

    摘要: A source container for use in a computer system executing problem determination tools in an integrated environment across a computer network, the source container comprising a list of pathways to a plurality of source files and module objects. A software development may create the source container independently or within the front end of a problem determination tool. The front end of the problem determination tools sends the source container to its engine, and only source files and module objects having a pathway in the source container are analyzed within the engine of the problem determination tool. Furthermore, the results of the analysis of only those source files and module objects having a pathway in the source container are returned to the front end of the problem determination tool for viewing by the software developer. The front ends of the tools of the integrated development environment, the source files, the module objects, the engines of the tools, and different tools may all be located on different servers and/or clients across a computer network.
