Abstract: A metallic separator for a fuel cell with high corrosion resistance and low contact resistance without surface coating is provided. The separator for a fuel cell is formed by adding one or more of tantalum (Ta) and lanthanum (La) to an austenitic stainless steel that contains molybdenum (Mo) and tungsten (W).
