摘要： A mobile device and a touch-based operation method allow a user to easily and conveniently use a desired communication-related function through a touch-sensitive interface. The mobile device displays a scrollable communication-related list that includes but is not limited to a call log list, a message list, a phonebook list, and an email list. When a specific item is selected in response to a first touch event, the mobile device determines whether or not a second touch event occurs on the selected item in a non-scrollable direction. Then the mobile device executes a particular function predefined in the selected item in response to the second touch event occurring in the non-scrollable direction.

摘要： Disclosed is a portable terminal operation method and a portable terminal supporting the same that enable rapid and convenient operation of a user function in relation to a particular item on a touch screen. The method includes: outputting an area in which one or more scrollable items are arranged; appointing a particular item when a first touch event occurs, determining if a second touch event occurs on the appointed item within a range in which item scrolling does not occur; and changing at least one of a part of a color, and a shape of an image, corresponding to the appointed particular item according to the occurrence of the second touch event.

摘要： A mobile device with a touch panel and a touch-lock operating method thereof are provided. The mobile device preferably includes an RF communication unit for supporting communication services; a touch panel for sensing input touches; a display unit for displaying a screen, where the screen includes at least one of a preset image, text, and map; and a controller for setting a touch-lock in the touch panel according to a preset condition. The controller also controls the display unit to display at least one of a text and image or at least one particular icon corresponding to the information reception event that occurs, based on the RF communication unit, in the touch-lock state. A portion of the display screen can be locked, or only certain predetermined touch functions permitted.

摘要： An apparatus and method for forming a user interface for a mobile terminal based on human relations are provided. The method includes creating a piece of log data corresponding to a communication event, calculating a level of intimacy between the user and a counterpart for a target duration using the log data and displaying human relations of the user on the basis of the intimacy level. A user item representing the user and a counterpart item representing the counterpart are displayed in a human relations network screen. Lower-level screens are allocated to provide summary and detailed information on the log data and to enable communication. A new user interface, which is based not on functions but on human relations, enables the user to readily identify a trend in human relations and levels of communication with other persons.
