    摘要： A toner delivery system for a toner cartridge includes a toner paddle assembly having a drive shaft and a frame extending from the drive shaft. A first scraper and a second scraper each extend in their free states in a cantilevered manner from a distal end of the frame in a direction generally orthogonal to the extension of the frame and to an axis of rotation of the drive shaft. The second scraper has a cantilevered length measured along a direction that the second scraper extends in the cantilevered manner from the distal end of the frame that varies along an axial direction of the drive shaft. The first scraper and the second scraper are positioned to have an interference contact with the front of the toner cartridge housing along a first portion and a second portion, respectively, of a channel upon rotation of the drive shaft.

    摘要： A carriage assembly according to one example embodiment includes a cradle pivotably mounted on a base. The cradle has a cartridge storage area sized to receive and hold a toner cartridge. The cradle is pivotable between a loading position for loading and unloading the toner cartridge and an operating position for operating the toner cartridge. A hold-down feature is mounted on the base adjacent to the cradle in a substantially stationary position relative to the cradle movement. When the cradle is in the loading position, the hold-down feature is positioned clear of an insertion and removal path of the toner cartridge into and out of the cradle and, as the cradle moves toward the operating position and when the cradle is in the operating position, the hold-down feature is positioned to engage a stop on the toner cartridge to prevent the toner cartridge from separating from the cradle.

    摘要： A toner cartridge for an image forming device according to one example embodiment includes a housing having a reservoir for containing toner therein. The housing has an exit port on a front of the housing in fluid communication with the reservoir. A first leg and a second leg each project from a bottom of the housing and extend primarily along a front-to-rear dimension of the housing. A first alignment guide is positioned on a first side of the housing and a second alignment guide is positioned on a second side of the housing. Each alignment guide extends primarily along the front-to-rear dimension of the housing. The first alignment guide includes a pair of rounded contact points and the second alignment guide includes a rounded contact point. The rounded contact points of the first and second alignment control the vertical position of the toner cartridge in the image forming device.
