    Abstract: A method of fabricating a flexible display device is to prevent damage due to a defective detachment of an auxiliary substrate by carrying out the detachment in a manner of irradiating lasers onto a sacrifice layer interposed between a flexible substrate and an auxiliary substrate and thereafter taking away a vacuum by injecting air into the interface between the flexible substrate and the auxiliary substrate. The fabricating method includes providing an auxiliary substrate, forming a sacrifice layer on the auxiliary substrate, forming a flexible substrate on the auxiliary substrate with the sacrifice layer formed thereon, forming a display panel on the flexible substrate, removing the sacrifice layer interposed between the flexible substrate and the auxiliary substrate by way of a laser irradiation, injecting air between the flexible substrate and the auxiliary substrate removed the sacrifice layer therebetween, and detaching the auxiliary substrate from the flexible substrate.

A color shift in a black screen can be improved by replacing a barrier film used for face seal with a retardation film including a half wave plate and a quarter wave plate combined at a predetermined angle.

    Abstract: Disclosed is a flexible display device capable of preventing a bending phenomenon occurring in a high-temperature and high-humidity state, by preventing water from being introduced thereinto, by forming a barrier layer formed of acryl instead of the conventional tri-acetyl cellulose (TAC) film, on the surface of a polarizing device, the barrier layer having a low coefficient of humidity expansion and a low coefficient of thermal expansion. The flexible display device comprises: a display panel configured to output an image; and a polarizing plate attached to an upper surface of the display panel, wherein the polarizing plate comprises: a polarizing device; and a barrier layer formed of an acryl-based resin, and formed on one surface of the polarizing device.

    Abstract: Disclosed are a thin film transistor and a display device including the thin film transistor. The thin film transistor comprises: a bottom gate electrode on a substrate; a semiconductor layer overlapping with the bottom gate electrode, wherein the semiconductor layer comprises a N-type semiconductor layer and a P-type semiconductor layer, and the N-type semiconductor layer is overlapped partly with the P-type semiconductor layer; a first source electrode and a first drain electrode respectively connected to the P-type semiconductor layer; a second source electrode and a second drain electrode respectively connected to a portion of the N-type semiconductor layer which is not overlapped with the P-type semiconductor layer; and a top gate electrode above the semiconductor layer. According to the embodiment of the present disclosure, a complexity of a manufacturing process of the thin film transistor is reduced.
