    Abstract: A display device can include a substrate including a plurality of sub-pixels, an overcoating layer on the substrate and including a base portion and protrusion portions, a first electrode corresponding to each of the plurality of sub-pixels and covering the base portion and the protrusion portions, a bank on a portion of the first electrode, an organic layer on the first electrode and the bank, a second electrode on the organic layer, an encapsulation unit on the second electrode, and a color filter on the encapsulation unit. The color filter can overlap another portion of the first electrode that is exposed by the bank. Therefore, it is possible to improve a luminance viewing angle and lateral visibility by disposing the color filter to overlap the emission area alone.

    Abstract: According to an aspect of the present disclosure, a display device includes a substrate including a plurality of sub-pixels, an overcoating layer on the substrate and including a base portion and a plurality of protrusions having a groove, a first electrode corresponding to each of the plurality of sub-pixels and covering the base portion and the plurality of protrusions, a bank on a portion of the first electrode, an organic layer on the first electrode and the bank, a second electrode on the organic layer, and a dummy organic layer and a dummy conductive layer in the groove. The groove can be disposed between the plurality of sub-pixels, and an end of the bank can overlap the groove.

    Abstract: A display device is disclosed. The display device includes: a substrate including a plurality of sub-pixels; an auxiliary line disposed between the plurality of sub-pixels on the substrate; an overcoating layer including a base part having an opening that exposes the auxiliary line and a plurality of protrusion parts protruding from the base part; a first electrode corresponding to each of the plurality of sub-pixels and covering the base part and the plurality of protrusion parts; a bank on a part of the first electrode; an organic layer on the first electrode and the bank; and a second electrode on the organic layer and in contact with the auxiliary line exposed through the opening. An end portion of the bank overlaps with the opening.
