Abstract: A polarizer of the present disclosure includes a light control layer which includes a plurality of partitions, a transmissive unit which is provided between the partitions and includes a scattering unit thereabove, and a liquid crystal layer disposed above the partitions and the transmissive unit; and a polarizing layer bonded to the light control layer. According to the present disclosure, a structure which restricts a viewing angle is disposed below a polarizer so that information is exposed only to the user, thereby implementing a narrow viewing angle.

Abstract: Provided are an optical member for enhancing luminance and an organic light-emitting display device having the same. An optical member includes: a linear polarizer, a blue cholesteric liquid crystal (CLC) layer configured to transmit light, the light having only one of: a left-handed circularly polarized light component and a right-handed circularly polarized light component, and a quarter wave plate configured to convert the transmitted light, having the left-handed circularly polarized light component or right-handed circularly polarized light component, into linear polarized light, wherein the blue cholesteric liquid crystal (CLC) layer and the quarter wave plate are located on a same side of the linear polarizer.

Abstract: Provided are a very highly transmissive polarizing plate which allows for improved luminance efficiency without reducing the degree of polarization by enhancing the color of the polarizing plate, and an organic light-emitting display device having the same. With this very highly transmissive polarizing plate, the brightness, lifetime, and efficiency of the organic light-emitting display device can be improved, and at the same time power consumption can be reduced.
