Abstract: A display device and a method for driving the same are disclosed. The display device includes a display panel including pixels and touch sensors, the display panel being time-division driven in a display driving period and a touch sensor driving period, a main power integrated circuit (IC) configured to produce a first gate high voltage and a second gate high voltage less than the first gate high voltage, a touch power IC configured to produce a first AC signal having an amplitude corresponding to the second gate high voltage, and a gate driver configured to produce a gate pulse based on the first gate high voltage to supply the gate pulse to gate lines connected to the pixels during the display driving period and supply the first AC signal to the gate lines during the touch sensor driving period.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure are related to a touch display device, as a plurality of first line parts disposed on a first sensor layer and a plurality of second line parts disposed on a second sensor layer are alternated to make a touch line, at least a portion of different touch lines can be disposed to be overlapped each other, thus a plurality of touch lines can be disposed while reducing or minimizing a reduction of an aperture ratio or a transmittance of a subpixel due to an arrangement of the touch line. Accordingly, a touch sensitivity can be enhanced by further disposing touch electrodes, or the touch display device having a large area with many channels can be implemented easily by further disposing touch lines.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides A touch sensing system comprising: a display panel having pixels and touch sensors; a display driving circuit that writes data to the pixels; a touch sensing part that senses touch input; a plurality of multiplexers that connect one of sensor lines connected to the touch sensing part; and a touch sensor controller that performs full sensing to detect a multiplexer with a sensed touch input by supplying a driving signal to the touch sensors within the touch sensing periods, performs pre-sensing to determine whether or not a touch input is sensed in multiplexers adjacent to the multiplexer with a sensed touch input, and performs local sensing to scan the touch sensors connected to the multiplexer with a sensed touch input based on the pre-sensing result and to calculate the coordinates of the touch input.

Abstract: A touch display device includes a shield electrode disposed between a touch electrode and a display electrode, by not disposing the touch electrode and the shield electrode on a part of an area overlapping with a data line, thus direct and indirect coupling by the data line can be reduced and a crosstalk by a coupling between a touch signal and a display signal can be reduced. Furthermore, in the case that the shield electrode is disposed on a layer where a connecting pattern connecting between the touch electrode and the touch line is disposed, by maintaining an arrangement of the shield electrode on some area where the data line is overlapped and the touch electrode isn't disposed, thus an effect of a coupling reduction can be provided while maintaining a noise blocking performance of the shield electrode stably.
