Abstract: An electroluminescent display device according to an exemplary embodiment of the present disclosure includes an anode over a substrate, an organic layer on the anode, a cathode on the organic layer, an encapsulation layer over the cathode, a foreign material present between the anode and the organic layer, the cathode, and the encapsulation layer and a barrier layer over the encapsulation layer to cover the foreign material, so that penetration of moisture and oxygen is prevented and thus, dark spot defects and pixel defects caused by foreign substances can be repaired.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a display device including a piezoelectric film type actuator, the display device having a structure in which a groove is provided in a rear surface of a metal layer for supporting and encapsulate a rear surface of a display panel and the piezoelectric film type actuator is disposed in the groove.
